Our Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program is designed to provide in-depth treatment for clients experiencing chronic problems with alcohol/drugs and other dependence. Our goals are to provide information about the physical, emotional, social, and legal consequences of alcohol consumption and/or drug use and prevent recidivism. Alcoholism or drug addiction is a serious progressive illness that can lead to mental, physical, and emotional pain. The treatment components focus on a recovery program concerned with not just abstinence, but abstinence as a fulfilling, productive way of life. Each client will have an individual treatment plan based on a face-to-face interview, screening and intake information. Individualized treatment plans with each individual will identify and address specific needs pertinent to continued substance abuse. The A.A. 12-Step philosophy is strongly supported and encouraged. Relapse prevention is designed for individuals who have made a commitment to change. It's designed to prevent the client from returning to thoughts, emotions, and actions that originally brought the client into treatment. The I.O.P. Treatment Program consists of a minimum of (21), (3) hour group sessions meeting a minimum of three times per week plus an "Intake" and an "Exit" interview.
